Mary T. Go is the owner and founder of Go Forward Insights, LLC. Mary works as a Financial Coach, where she helps clients simplify and demystify their personal finance affairs. Along with her approachable style and plain-speaking substance, she can be counted on for confidential guidance with a strong dose of action-orientation and accountability.
Mary started her coaching practice after working over 20 years in financial roles for Walgreens and Pfizer. She has now helped dozens of clients organize their financial lives, improve their returns, and gain financial confidence.
Her clients have included individuals experiencing life transitions and wealth events, mid-career professionals seeking retirement options, and individuals looking for an unbiased “financial second opinion” of their own plans.
She has led corporate classroom sessions with a wide range of employees, including those starting their financial journeys and individuals looking to maximize their retirement benefits.
Prior to becoming a fee-only fiduciary coach, Mary’s career included senior positions within M&A and sales management, including a role as the CFO of the $7 Billion Beauty division of Walgreens and an expatriate financial assignment in Bern, Switzerland.
She holds a BA degree in economics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Mary earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification after completing rigorous coursework through Northwestern University and passing the national board exam.
